Reading beyond Book Week in RRB

The children in RRB have been bringing in the books they bought after book week. Some of the books where bought at the school book fair. We have read some fantastic stories and it's inspiring us to read more.

Thank you children, we all enjoyed listening to those stories at story time. If you haven't spent your £1 book voucher there is still time to spend it. Look on the official world book day website for more information and keep reading!

World Book Day in RRB

Wow children, how amazing did you all look today? I loved seeing you all dressed up as your favourite book characters.

Huge well done to all the parents, grandparents and carers who went to the trouble to get the children looking so amazing. Everybody looked absolutely fantastic.

We have had such a busy day and read quite a few books throughout the day. I think everyone will sleep well tonight. Don't forget to have a look on the World Book Day website and look at the books you can spend your £1 voucher on. You can bring in any books you buy for us to share at storytime.

Make sure you keep reading and enjoying books long beyond World Book Day.

Book Week in RRB

We are very excited about book week in RRB. We love reading and sharing good books at storytime.

The children are welcome to bring a book in for us to read at storytime. Our aim is to read as many books as we can during book week.

We love reading story books and non-fiction books. We enjoy learning lots of interesting facts and are currently discovering lots of interesting facts about Spring.

I am looking forward to seeing which characters the children come as on World Book Day on Thursday.

It's bound to be a lot of fun.
