Summer Uniform

Summer uniform can be worn after the Easter holiday, weather permitting, please see below for confirmation of what the summer uniform is.  Can we just confirm that black trainers are not allowed as school shoes, so if you are purchasing a new pair of shoes for summer term, please ensure they are not trainers. 

As you are aware earrings of any kind are not allowed in school.  If you are thinking of having your child’s ears pierced during the holiday, please wait until the 6 weeks summer holiday to avoid the risk of them healing, as they will have to be removed before entering school each morning.

Black Shoes                                                     Black or white shoes.

White canvass shoes (plain non branded) are acceptable weather permitting

No open toes sandals, no jelly shoes

Boots and trainers are not allowed – trainers can only be worn during outside p.e.

Children must have their p.e. kit in school every day.  Children are required to wear their p.e. kits and pumps during drama/dance lessons and when we have other ad hoc activities.  Please note sports week will be during next term and children will be practicing for their sports day.

P.E KITS – Boys & Girls

Black shorts, House coloured p.e. top (t-shirt not polo shirt)

Black pumps.  Trainers can be worn for outdoor p.e. lessons

Track suit for outdoor in winter and afterschool clubs

Kits are required in school every day and must not be shared with siblings or other children. 

No jewellery is allowed, except for a watch.

No Earrings allowed in school.  These must be removed before school

No nail varnish or false nails.

No wrist bands

No large bows or sharp pin in hair


Kits should be clearly labelled with your child’s name and should be kept in a p.e. bag.  Kits will be used not only during p.e. lessons but during dance lessons, theatre group visitors and therefore should be kept in school all week.  If your child does not have their own kit and therefore not taking part in their regular p.e. lessons, unfortunately he/she will not be allowed to take part in any afterschool club.
