Thank you to everyone who helped organise the PTFA events last year and a big thank you to everyone who came along to support them. Without your support we would not be able to raise any funds to help with parties, activities etc. in school and in the case of last year, help towards all the new playground equipment. The PTFA gave £5,000 towards the cost of the equipment.

Unfortunately, due to extreme weather on the afternoon of the Summer Beach Gala we had to cancel the event. I know many of the children were disappointed and we lost a considerable amount of money on perishable food, Punch & Judy show, donkey rides, bouncy castles etc., all off which had to be paid for in advance. Items you kindly donated for the stalls have been stored safely away and will be used for the Autumn Term events.

We will be holding many events this year starting with the Halloween discos and Christmas Grotto. Letters and information will be sent out later this month. All future events will be on the website for next year, as and when dates are confirmed.

Any funds raised this year will go towards visitors in school. We are hoping to invite a children’s author in to school, and confirm some visiting shows as the children love the pantomimes, musicals, storytelling theatre groups, and animal visitors like the Bug Man.
