The scheme is open to anyone registered with a St Helens Doctor, who can provide proof of their GP registration.
You can see your local Pharmacist for a confidential consultation, usually without an appointment, for a wide range of ailments
If you don’t pay for your prescription then any medication the Pharmacist provides is free of charge
The Following conditions can be treated under the scheme: coughs,colds and sore throats, nasal congestion, cold sores, diarrhoea, pain or temperature, headache, cystitis, allergies, threadworm, warts & verrucas, athlete’s foot, mouth ulcers, constipation, head lice, haemorrhoids, indigestion, minor eye infections, oral thrush, minor skin reactions, teething, colic, ear wax, nappy rash.
