- Year 2 – The Twits
- Year 3 – Danny champion of the world
- Year 4 – Matilda
- Year 5 – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
- Year 6 – Witches
Parent’s Evening is on Monday and Tuesday. There will be no afterschool clubs on these days.
On Thursday 2nd March is World Book Day when children can come to school dressed as their favourite book character. I know many children already have dressing up costumes which they are excited to wear but please do not go to any expense if they do not. Children can wear their own clothes and a home-made mask depicting their favourite book character. Costumes can be easily adapted from your child’s wardrobe, for example, a dress and a pretty ribbon would be great for Matilda, ripped clothes and a bowl for Oliver, witches and wizards just need an old shawl or piece of sheeting. Knowing what our talented parents have come up with on previous dress-up days, I am sure you have lots of more exciting ideas.
