St Helens Day Parade 30th June 2018

On Saturday 30th June, pupils from Thatto Heath Community Primary represented our School by taking part in the St Helens Day Parade. The event was part of the ongoing celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of St Helens being made a municipal borough.¬†Well done to Miss Lucy’s dance group and to our Year 5 and Year 6 Mini Police – we hope you enjoyed the parade!

Road Safety

This afternoon @merseypolice very own Mini Police for St Helens were outside of @thattoprim teaching drivers about road safety to and from school.

The mini police made up of Y5 and Y6 children from the school were joined by St Helens Local Policing Team 3 where they made use of the speed camera device. They also stopped passing members of the public to hand out leaflets about road safety and offer their very own advice about the dangers of parking and speeding near to the school.

We would like to thank all of the children involved in the event who were a credit to their school and community.
