Art

It is our belief that all children should have access to a creative curriculum and be given the opportunity to experience a range of arts skills. We strive to offer diversity through our art curriculum and give the children the opportunity to celebrate all that they have achieved in Art.

We value Art because it contributes to the development of the whole child emotionally, aesthetically, spiritually, intellectually and socially. It creates within the child a sense of enjoyment and purpose. It provides the children with a unique way of perceiving themselves and the world in which we live, which may not be taught in other areas of the curriculum.

All children are entitled to a broad and balanced Art experience, irrespective of background, gender, race and ability. Each child will be given the opportunity and encouraged to reach their full potential through our commitment to providing them with access to high quality Art experiences.

The following documents provide an overview of the Art Curriculum.
