During Anti-Bullying week next week, the theme this year is ‘Respect’. On Monday the children can wear odd socks if they wish to recognise the national ‘Odd Socks Day’. It is an opportunity for the children to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique.
On Wednesday, we will learn about cyber-bullying and on Thursday our Kindness Council will meet and work with their peers in class, to recognise random acts of kindness and why this is one of the values we hold so dearly. An information leaflet about our anti-bullying policy will go home to parents and information on how to spot if your child is being bullied.
A bullying reporting box will be displayed near Mrs. Ireland’s office and we will relaunch our ‘Worry Welly’ strategy. Each class will also be contributing to some whole school displays.
