More amazing history!

We were very lucky that Jack brought in some historical artefacts for us to see this week.

As well as the photographs of St. Helens from a long time ago, Jack also brought in a photograph of his great, great, great uncle, Private William Travis who sadly lost his life during World War 2.

This picture shows an ex Saints player that who is also a distant relative of Jack's.

An amazing artefact!

This week is history week in school and we are looking at the history of St. Helens in particular. We are very lucky to have children with such a rich family history in the area.

Dylan's great grandfather was a collier in the local mines and Dylan has brought in an original miners lamp for us to look at. Isn't it fantastic!
